System Logs

System logs describe the status of monitored devices.

About this task

System logs are based on RASLog notifications. The system logs are stored for a duration of two hours.

Procedure

  1. In the Navigation menu, select Logs > System.
    The system logs provide the following information:
    • Hostname
    • IP address
    • Severity
    • Message
    • Date
    System logs page
  2. Use the Search bar to look up a system log.
  3. Use the refresh icon refresh icon to reload the system logs.
  4. Use the filter option filter icon to view the system logs by Severity or Message.
    1. In the System Logs widget, select Filter icon.
    2. Select a system log value between Severity or Message, and then enter the filter value.
    3. Select Add Filter to include more filter options, or Apply Filter to view the system logs based on your previous selection.
